A social improvement project of the True Dharma International Buddhist Mission is to rid a couple of miles of central Pinellas county roads of accumulated trash and to monitor them every three months.

We have picked up over a 100 lbs of cans, bottles, food containers, old shoes, broken furniture, pipes, boards, hubcaps, nuts, bolts, old tools, a dead raccoon and innumerable cigarette butts on north and east of the Starkey and Bryan Dairy Road intersection.
We call upon other local Buddhist groups to volunteer their efforts to beautify Pinellas county! We suggest Buddhist groups throughout the United States contribute to their communities in this way, too!
